Sigur Ros frontman Jonsi may not like being on the promo treadmill much if his recent spate of canceled in-stores is any barometer, but he made an exception for Jimmy Fallon’s show last night (Nov. 10). This was a chance for Jonsi to air his contribution to the How to Train Your Dragon movie, and it’s quickly apparent why those in-stores would never have worked: that headdress is far too big to fit into the confines of a cramped indie record store. There’s definitely a hint of Feels era Animal Collective about this song, but it’s a decent match for Jonsi's voice, and he’s clearly enjoying being freed of the shackles of his main band for a while.
