Jonsi: “Icicle Sleeves” and “Kolniður" (Live on Cemetery Gates) (Video)

Say what you like about Pitchfork, but they certainly know how to pick appropriate artists for the Cemetery Gates series. The latest entry features a performance from Sigur Ros frontman Jonsi, who performs a couple of tracks here—the new song “Icicle Sleeves” and Go highlight “Kolniður.” The sparse and eerie nature of the material makes a perfect fit for the setting, with Jonsi allowing his music to drift out into the performance space, making it feel like it was always meant to be heard in such hallowed surroundings.
