Jonsi: "Animal Arithmetic" (Video)

Sigur Ros frontman Jonsi is set to be one of the highlights of the first inaugural Moogfest in North Carolina this Halloween, but while we wait for that event, he has produced this promo clip for the song “Animal Arithmetic” from Go. The track was released as a single back in May.

Clearly the XL Recordings budget for Go has been stretched, as the footage here is all culled from the Go Quiet film, which was a full-length acoustic reinterpretation of the record shot in Iceland earlier this year. Jonsi’s fans have already begun to express disappointment at this in the comments under this clip, alongside the usual in depth commentary you’d expect from YouTube commentators, including “FUCK I LOVE THIS SONG” and “LIKE :)”. Oh YouTube users, don’t ever change.
