I’m sure you clicked on this hoping to read a witty post where I trash talk the Jonas Brothers. I am happy to oblige, but first, you have to hand it to these guys: they’re the most popular “rock” band on earth and sell tons of records all without having any discernible talent or personality, and while working on the puppet strings of the big-bad Disney corporation. Basically, they’re the 2008 version of Jet.
This video, which seems to me to be a moderate rip off of this one, is for the Jonas Brothers’ “Lovebug,” which, as I have previously established, is obviously about an STD (probably something like Scabies since they say they “catch the lovebug again”). Now, don’t get upset if you think I’m claiming the Jonas Brothers are lying when they say they’re virgins because you can totally catch that from a toilet seat (at least that’s what my 9th grade health teacher told me).
The song itself is sugary to the point of causing childhood diabetes, and the “rocking” portion at the end has a Winger-esque guitar solo. So, yeah, if you dig that kind of thing, it’s probably awesome. [Idolator]
