Back in 1990, a rapper named MC Breed helped put both the West Coast and his hometown of Flint, Mich. on the map with the classic cut "Ain't No Future in Yo Frontin." He would go on to release several more classic tracks over the years before running into label (and legal) troubles in the mid-2000s. He then tragically died in September 2008, which shook the hip-hop world from coast to coast and everywhere in between. And now, fellow Flint native Jon Connor, whose popularity only seems to grow daily, has released these visuals for his tribute to MC Breed, "Ain't No Future." What's especially dope about this track is that it works on its own, though it's obviously much more poignant as an homage to the late MC.
Connor's latest effort, Salvation, is out now.
