John Parish, PJ Harvey: "Black Hearted Love"

The first single from John Parish and PJ Harvey's forthcoming album, A Woman A Man Walked By, was premiered last night on BBC Radio One and can now be previewed and downloaded here.

Although the cover of "Black Hearted Love" shows a very White Chalk-esque Harvey, her singing voice has come down an octave or two from the glass-shattering levels it reached on her last album. PJ's deeper, warmer vocals are set against John Parish's rocky, guitar-led instrumentation and a riff that sounds naggingly familiar...

A Woman A Man Walked By is set for release on March 30.
