John Parish , PJ Harvey

"Black Hearted Love" (Video)

"Black Hearted Love," the first single from PJ Harvey and John Parish second album together, A Woman A Man Walked By, sounds like it was time capsuled since the duo last recorded an album (1996's Dance Hall at Louse Point) and dropped to us in 2009. Seriously, it sounds like early '90s Sonic Youth crossed with early '90s, uh, PJ Harvey. The song just got a video which finds Harvey bouncing in a child's bounce room as rain pours down. Plus, there's a lot of slow-motion. I wonder if Zack Snyder directed this. The video is playing at NME.

A Man A Woman Walked By is due out on March 30 via Island. [via Stereogum]

It was directed by British artists The Chapman Brothers apparently...

Yeah, I know that. It was a joke re: all the slow motion in 300 and Watchmen.
