Joe Budden: "Dreamerz" F. Emanny
Joe Budden's fourth Mood Muzik mixtape will see a proper release this Tuesday with a "4.5" thrown at the end of it and some new songs to boot. And one of those, the J. Cardim-produced "Dreamerz," is easily one of the rapper's most ambitious tracks to date. It's a nearly nine-minute-long gush-fest from Budden, who uses the hazy synths and rock guitars to dish on his personal life. Tracks like these leave me wondering just how much original material the rapper would have left if he decided to write an autobiography. I give the dude some credit for putting it all out there -- and then some -- but this is a little much, though that Cardim production is top-notch.
