"Good Intentions Paving Company" is the second track from Joanna Newsom's triple album (!), Have One On Me, to be streamed over at Drag City's website. The track has a country western/Fleetwood Mac vibe, and winds around itself repeatedly over the course of its running time. It also sounds decidedly different than her other material.
Have One On Me is due out on Feb 23 via Drag City.
I know Ys was the critical darling, but I still yearn for Milk-Eyed Mender.
Milk-Eyed Mender is a better expression of what Newsom is good at, but Ys ambition was admirable. I'm pretty excited for this new one as from the two songs I've heard I think it will split the difference between Ys and Milk-Eyed Mender's approach.
I would stalk her if I knew where to begin...
lol Williamsburg.
begun. if you want I could grab you a lock of hair as a reward for the intel...
lol thanks, this hulking beast of a triple album will have to suffice for now.
