jj: "Let Go" and "My Way"

The mysterious Swedes of jj produced Prefix's 19th best album of 2009 in jj n° 2, and they're coming out with the more hotly anticipated - and appropriately titled - jj n° 3 in March via Secretly Canadian and Sincerely Yours. The latter label released two new jj songs today. "Let Go" is a track that comes from the new album, opening with a plaintive harmonica that glides wistfully into a airy, hushed combination of breezy female vocals and dulcimer plinks. "My Way," in contrast, opens with a Charles Manson dialogue that jj spins into a vibrant bounce and some killer flow from Lil Wayne. Check out both tracks here. [GvB]
