Jim Jones and friends enjoy an oddly understated night on the town in the new clip from the Dipset capo's recently released The Ghost Of Rich Porter mixtape (which, incidentally, can still be downloaded for free over at XXL). It's definitely one of the more unflashy clips Jones has been involved with in recent memory, which therefore gives the track more room to stand on its own.
I realize that this makes the video sound a little boring, but there are small details in this video that make it shine. In addition to the sight of Jones rocking a bunch of Batman gear, he also casually twiddles a straw in his beverage during the part where he raps about all of the unmentionable things he's going to do to somebody's girlfriend. His brash charisma really pulls it through.
Finally, even though Cam'ron and Jones' only definite reunion has been to play basketball this past weekend, it still makes seeing that old, familiar Diplomats logo at the beginning that much more exciting.
