While a lot of pop videos like to bombard our brainwaves with overabundant, often nonsensical imagery, it's nice to see a director take a minimalist approach for a change. In the new video for "Wildest Moments," Jessie Ware emerges from a silhouetted darkness to sing the words to the song while apparently seated on a rotating platform. The camera pans out, then back in, and by the end of the track we're back in darkness like we've reached the end of a long day. Directed by Kate Moross, this subtle, understated video invites us, in the absence of overstimulation, to join in and just meditate on the music itself.
