Now that "Birthday Sex" has started working its way down the charts (and out of listeners' cerebral cortexes) Def Jam has turned their sights on making his latest single, "Imma Star," into a hit. In the just released video for the track, Jeremih rolls around in a woody wagon trying to convince woman to get in his car to watch TV on his 6-inch TV monitor. Then he tries to get into a club with spare change. It's an interesting tactic to portray Jeremih as pitifully broke dude instead of an incredibly wealthy R&B star, at least until they pull the rug out from under that notion in the video's conclusion.
Jeremih's self-titled debut is out now. [Real Talk NY]
Its a clever unpredictable recession friendly suprise.
