Drug referencing might be a more common tendency of hip-hop, but it seems that the lyrical habit has inched its way further into the R&B game. While we already know the perceived consequences of popping a molly (that's sweating), Jeremih--on a path to his upcoming album Thumpy Johnson--has released a new track which indirectly/cheekily nods to Ecstasy. The KB-produced "Ex-To- See" amounts to an anecdote about Jeremih running in with an ex-girl in the club while breaking off into a hook with a titular, happy pill chant of "Ecstasy, Ecstasy."
The R&B star is now managed by Diddy, so perhaps keep an eye out for some more exciting one-offs before Thumpy drops.
