Jenny Lewis: Call Jenny Lewis’ hotline to get an “Acid Tongue” in your ear

Pulling a page out of the Arcade Fire playbook, Jenny Lewis has set up a hotline where you can hear the title track for her new solo album, Silver Tongue.

Listening over my sketchy reception, the song sounds like an old country ballad, but it’s kind of hard to judge its merits over a tiny speaker. Lewis also unveiled the album’s cover art, which is pictured here.

Acid Tongue is due out on 9/23 via Warner. [Stereogum]
