Jemina Pearl: Stream Three New Songs on Myspace

Ex-Be Your Own Pet front-woman Jemina Pearl posted three new songs on the Myspace page of her solo project today, and they're essentially what Pearl promised, as far as being more in the vein of Get Awkward's "Becky." New track "Heartbeats" is a pretty straight BYOP-esque slab of punk, clocking in at a little over two-minutes. The other two tracks, "Ecstatic Appeal" and "Nashville Shores" are certainly poppier like "Becky," but more compositionally mature than most of the work that BYOP did while they were together. Overall, the work Pearl put on her Myspace page ensures that fans will stick around for the full-length.
