Jeans Wilder: "Blue Dream" (Video) (Prefix Premiere)

Andrew Caddick has been playing music for quite some time. The San Diego-based musician is a former member of Fantastic Magic (with Nathan Williams of Wavves and Matt Barajas of Heavy Hawaii) and has been honing in on his own musical ventures since 2008.

Like his hometown, Caddick's music is a balance of light and dark, urban and beach. Under the moniker Jeans Wilder, the SoCal musician released his sophomore album, Totally, on June 26 via Everloving Records.

To celebrate the record's release, Caddick shared a music video for "Blue Dream." The clip, which looks like it was shot with a camcorder, begins with guys driving in a truck, passing a pipe, and guides its viewer through the hazy coastal journey that ensues. The visuals fit the song, which aptly clocks in at four minutes and twenty seconds, perfectly. The track is a meandering instrumental number that incorporates samples of ocean waves meshed with droning synth and plucking guitar.
