Jean Grae: 'Cookies Or Comas' (Mixtape)
If we didn't already know her for her amazing skills as an MC, Jean Grae would have caught our attention today off the name of her latest mixtape alone. It's called Cookies Or Comas and serves as the precursor to Cake Or Death, which is scheduled to drop this fall. I wouldn't hold my breath on a definite release date, though, as it had several throughout the course of 2010. I suppose we will have to wait and see how Cookies Or Comas, a fantastic, 11-track project, fares in the meantime. It includes features from Styles P, Royce Da 5'9", Pharoahe Monch, and Talib Kweli -- not bad, right? -- and is hosted by DJ Drama. Yeah, you're going to need to download this.
