Los Angeles duo J*Davey are really sincere about their dislike for speed, so serious that they gave us some verbal speed bumps and decided to spell slow with three o's (which can only be pronounced correctly if you pitch shift your voice like Lil Wayne's "goblin" in "A Milli"). The video further illustrates the point with its low red lighting, the weird glowing crystal, and vocalist Jack Davey's languid come ons. We should also probably note the track itself, with its squelchy futurism and sleepy aesthetic. "Slooow" appears on the band's The Beauty of Distortion/Land of the Lost EPs.
