Jay-Z's much ballyhooed interview with Oprah aired yesterday, and it was mostly a way to promote the interview with Jigga in Oprah's magazine, O. There are some illuminating business deal talks and racism re: hip-hop, and most of it was about how Jay is so loved in Brooklyn. It's not exactly hard-hitting stuff--if you've been familiar with Jay-Z at all since 1996, you know all this stuff--but it's helping present Jay to housewives. Since he's almost 40, he needs that audience. [NahRight]
