The reformed original lineup of Jane's Addiction performed an unannounced reunion show at the Echoplex in L.A. last week, and Pitchfork TV was there to record six songs. The band seemed pretty tight but a little rough, and didn't really interact with each other all that much. Makes you wonder how that reunion tour with Nine Inch Nails is going to go. The video for "Mountain Song" is above. You can watch videos for "Whores," "Stop," "Ocean Size," "Had a Dad," and "Ain't No Right" here. [Pitchfork]
I love Janes.
"Ritual De Habitual" is one of my all time favorite records.
This is sooooo exciting!!! I can't wait to see them!!!!
damn, they didnt used to be this good! People need to aceept that rockin' is rockin', and "indie rock" is just not rockin.......this is rockin'.....
That was cute how Dave threw in the NIN riff at the end.
I've never been a huge fan of Jane's, but I've definitely always had a respect for their work. As I was telling someone when the NIN/JA tour was announced, at worst it'll be interesting.
