Jane's Addiction: "End to the Lies"
While promoting the expansion of Lollapalooza to Chile this weekend, Jane's Addiction dude Perry Farrell premiered a new Jane's Addiction track on Chilean radio. It's called "End to the Lies," and its the first song we've heard from the group with Dave Sitek on bass. But, overall, the guitar sound here is all Sitek, with guitar riffs deconstructed to white noise in the background, but with a decidedly more "alt" feel than TV on the Radio. It's not a great song, or even a "good" one, but it's probably less offensive than anything off 2003's Strays. Which is an improvement, I suppose.
Jane's Addiction's The Great Escape Artist is due out later this year. [Spin]
