Jamie Lidell: "Rope Of Sand" (Video)

Under the ruse of "updating" his website, Jamie Lidell's web people "unearthed" this video for "Rope of Sand," a song off his soulful romp of an album, 2008's Jim. In the clip, Lidell tries to tie down a girl with a presumable rope of sand, wandering the empty dunes doing some vintage soul-searching. This guy should really be getting played on Adult Contemporary R&B channels, but since he's British and vaguely indie, he gets no love. [Pitchfork]
