Jimmy Fallon had two musical guests on his show last night (May 11), which heightened his desire to pay tribute to Bob Marley on the 30th anniversary of his passing. Jennifer Hudson stepped up to perform a version of “No Woman, No Cry,” and she was joined on the show by Jakob Dylan, who reworked the standout cut from the 1973 record Burnin’, “I Shot the Sheriff.” Dylan’s husky voice is a decent match for the song, and for the most part this remains faithful to the slow-burn groove of the original track.
