‘Jackin’ 4 Beats Vol. 2′ (Mixtape)

After releasing his third album, The Love & War MasterPeace, in March 2010, Raheem DeVaughn got back on his mixtape grind for the rest of the year. He would go on to release the first installment of Jackin’ 4 Beats last November, which featured the crooner singing over industry jams such as Miguel’s wildly popular “All I Want Is You.”

And DeVaughn apparently wasn’t done there as he is back with Jackin’ 4 Beats Vol. 2, which is a holdover project until he begins pushing his in-the-works fourth album, A Place Called Loveland. Like its predecessor, his new mixtape again features DeVaughn doing his thing over the hot songs of the moment. Because it isn’t out yet, though, all we know now is that he has his eyes set on joints by Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and Snoop Dogg, among others. So, I’m guessing that means “6 Foot, 7 Foot,” “Look at Me Now,” and…hmm, one of Snoop’s several Doggumentary singles.
