J. Tillman's solo work isn't grand and pastoral like that of his other band, Fleet Foxes. Tillman's new track "Earthly Bodies" has a quiet, pained, lovely feeling that's yeah, acoustic and earnest, but otherwise pretty different from the work he does with Pecknold and crew. Tillman's new album is called Year in the Kingdom, out Sept. 22 on Western Vinyl. More new tracks are up at Tillman's Myspace page. [GVSB]
