J Dilla: "U-Love" (Fan Video)
To celebrate today's re-release of J Dilla's Donuts on vinyl with the "smile" cover, the good people at Stones Throw have shared this late entry in their fan-made video contest. You might remember that we previously saw some rad visuals for tracks like "Last Donut of the Night" and "Geek Down." While this video for "U-Love" follows their lead, it doesn't attempt to dazzle you with crazy special effects or anything like that. Rather, it relies on simplicity and a slew of doughnuts to complement Dilla's romantic sample chopping. Sigh, now I need to hit up Dunkin. And bump Donuts.
