J. Cole: "The Plan"
J. Cole wasn't joking around when he said he felt inspired to get in the studio and bang out some more tracks before releasing his much-anticipated, still-untitled debut. We previously heard him on "Villematic," a track featuring the Fayetteville, N.C. rapper-producer spitting over Kanye West's "Devil In a New Dress." While it was great to just hear new bars for Cole, I know I wasn't the only one looking for a completely new track. And that's just what we get here via his self-produced, rock-driven "The Plan," his track for the upcoming NBA Elite 11 video game. I'm hearing the game isn't supposed to be very good, but hey, at least you'll have a damn good cut to listen to while you play it.
