J. Cole: "Killers"
Originally thought to be a reference track, it turns out that J. Cole's latest, "Killers," will appear on a mixtape to promote an upcoming art show. Curated by Alex Haldi, the show, "The Glorification of Gangster," will explore the human fascination with organized crime. Haldi then linked with a slew of music artists -- from Jay-Z to Andrew Maury to J. Cole -- to provide tracks that are linked to the theme of crime. That's where the tape's first leak, "Killers," comes in. As the title implies, it features Cole, who also provided the moody production, kicking things off with a gripping story of a young man who murdered someone to prove himself to his peers. And that's just the first verse.
