“I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” And “Signed D.C.”

The White Stripes may have called it a day, but it’s likely that we’re going to be hearing from the band for a while yet. Jack White is still plundering the vaults for unreleased songs by the band, the latest of which are a couple of covers that have been exhumed. The version of Otis Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” is a typically spiky version of the old soul classic, with White working his fuzzy guitar lines around the song as it ebbs and flows. Also included is a sparsely arranged version of Arthur Lee’s “Signed D.C.” Check them out above and below. [via OneThirtyBPM]
