Even Sam Beam has funny quips about the near ubiquity of the lead single from his exceptional new album Kiss Each Other Clean, "Tree By the River." "Forgive me if you've heard it too many times at work," he preempts the track with. We've given you a couple different live clips of the song ourselves, but one more won't hurt. Mostly because the stripped-down version of "Tree" both recalls Beam's four-track roots and throws into contrast how far his songwriting has come since then.
