Here's another video of a beloved indie act doing a new song at the Creator's Project: Interpol played their new single, "Lights," when they played and that video is above. It's all gloomy and chiming guitars, of course, but it's interesting because this is basically what every Interpol fan has wanted since Antics--that the band would stop with the poppier stuff and go back to the climbing guitars and the heavy atmosphere--and it's not getting all that much love. Probably because there's isn't much going on lyrically here, I guess.
Interpol's Interpol is due out on Sept. 7.
That crowd SUCKS! Too trendy for their own good -- they're probably too wrapped up in blogging about the latest 'hit' from Lady GaGa.
Also sucks that the video cut off at the best part of the song ("that's hold I hold you NEEEEARR!")
