Interpol: "Barricade" (Live On Letterman) (Video)

A few fans have had a chance to check out the new Carlos D-less Interpol lineup on the band’s spate of recent tour dates, but here the group took new (and, presumable, temporary) recruits Dave Pajo and Benjamin Curtis onto national television for the first time for this performance of “Barricade” on David Letterman’s show.

Most people will already be familiar with this track from the upcoming Interpol of course, and it still sounds exactly like you’d expect Interpol to sound—strident guitar lines, gruff vocals from Paul Banks, and a palpable air of drama. Pajo still needs to go some way to match Carlos D’s sartorial elegance, though.
