Members of the Dirty Projectors and Zach Condon from Beirut have collaborated with Brooklyn band Inlets, who have a forthcoming album titled Inter Arbiter due in April. The Beirut influence is apparent on this track, titled “Bright Orange Air,” which bears this suitably arty video.
The Inlets sound is a placid, mid-tempo breeze into melancholia, most of which is the brainchild of Sebastian Krueger, who calls on his famous (and some not-so famous) friends to help fill out Inlets’ musical world. Inter Arbiter should be worth the wait, judging from this short but sweet clip.
