Immortal Technique: "Toast To The Dead" (Prod. J Dilla)
As he continues to put the finishing touches on planned new album The Middle Passage, super-political spitter Immortal Technique is dropping a free mixtape next week. The Martyr is set to feature guest appearances by Brother Ali (!), Jadakiss, Joell Ortiz, and others. But on its first leak -- methodical burner "Toast to the Dead" -- Technique is going for dolo over a perfectly languid beat from the late J Dilla. I personally never thought I'd hear them collaborating, but I'm definitely glad this happened. Really glad, actually, because "Toast to the Dead" is excellent. You can stream it below. [2DopeBoyz]
