Luckily, Pharrell doesn’t show up in the video for Clipse’s “I’m Good,” since it would be like a murderer going back to the scene of the crime, because he killed this pretty okay beat by squeaking in every empty space. At some point he decided that making sparse beats didn’t fulfill him; he needed to talk all over them. He’s worse than those taggers that ruin leaked rap songs. At any rate, this song isn’t getting any better, and not even a serviceable Rick Ross verse can improve things.
Clipse’s Till the Casket Drops is due out on Dec. 8. [Pitchfork]
