Ice Cube: "Drink The Kool-Aid"

When Ice Cube isn't making films he is apparently still keeping eyes and ears on what's going on in hip-hop. Judging from the first single, "Drink The Kool-Aid," off of his forthcoming LP, I Am The West, Cube isn't too happy with the way things are going. Over funky guitar squeals and a laid-back mid-tempo drumbeat, Cube calls out Weezy, Kanye, Dr. Dre and some "white boy’s rehabilitation." Leave it up to a former 41-year old member of N.W.A to start some shit in 2010.

Stream and/or download via On Smash.

I Am The West will drop Sept. 28 via Lench Mob.
