“How Come You Never Go There” (Live On Letterman) (Video)

Leslie Feist showed up on David Letterman’s show last night, where she plucked the song “How Come You Never Go There” from Metals and gave it a live airing. This was the first single to be lifted from the album, and it’s full of stop-start rhythms, horns, backing singers and a full production that suggests Metals is likely to be her more successful venture yet. The old time-y feel of the song is really enhanced on this live rendition, although sadly we never get to hear what Letterman thought of it as the clip cuts out just before the end.
