Eight years is a long time if you think about it. That's longer than the amount of time between your freshman year of college to receiving your masters degree sans break. Eight year ago, George W. Bush won a second term and the Red Sox won their first World Series in over 80 years. That is also how long it's been since the last time we heard new music from post-hardcore Florida outfit Hot Water Music.
Seemingly out of nowhere, the group that officially "dissolved" in 2006 has returned with new music and a full-length album called Exister. The band leaked a track and a teaser last week and now they've released a third song from the record, the title track "Exister." The new song showcases the band in top-form with signature raspy, emotive vocals and driving guitar.
Exister will be released May 15 via Rise Records. [Brooklyn Vegan]
