Hot Chip: "One Life Stand" (Live on Radio 1) (Video)

Here’s a chance to see how Hot Chip operates in a recording studio. This clip was shot at Radio 1 in the U.K. during the promotional duties for One Life Stand, and may not be much to look at, but gives tech-heads a chance to see how the famed radio broadcaster records artists.

This is a solid run through of the title track from the album, and the live performances will surely improve as Hot Chip plays further live dates, including a hotly anticipated tour of the U.S. with The xx in April. The band’s label is expecting this to be a break-out release for the group, so these are potentially transformative times for Hot Chip.
