Homeboy Sandman: "Subject: Matter Out Now"
As we previously reported, quick-tongued New York City rapper Homeboy Sandman was prepping his debut release on Stones Throw. And today, the Subject: Matter EP is finally here. The six-track project finds the heavily lyrical MC showing his mastery of the craft of writing as he tackles topics that have never been rapped about before.
No, we're not talking anything particularly controversial, but rather more day-to-day subjects like his favorite kind of soap and his creative process. The latter is also on full display in this non-EP track called "Subject: Matter Out Now," which serves as an announcement of the fact that, well, Subject: Matter is out now. If it sounds kind of crazy, it is. But it's also great. Stream the track below.
