Holy Ghost: "I Wanted To Tell Her" F. Nancy Whang & Juan Maclean (Ministry Cover)
Before Ministry started paving the way for industrial metal acts in the '80s, the British group was heavy into synth-pop. And while most folks have probably forgotten about that brief stint, New York synth-lovers Holy Ghost! haven't. Their latest track finds them covering early Ministry tune "I Wanted to Tell Her" with some help from the Juan Maclean's Nancy Whang (also formerly of LCD Soundsystem) and Juan Maclean. The result is something so '80s, so danceable, so goddamn fun that you should make sure to blast it so everyone in your office/dorm/wherever can hear it. Retro never sounded so good.
