“Latin America” by Holy Fuck begins with a drum pattern that bears a remarkable similarity to LCD Soundsystem’s “Get Innocuous,” but quickly diverts into more familiar territory. Audio of the track has already leaked, and now this scattershot collection of images has been strung together to form a video for the song.
“Latin America” is taken from Latin, the band’s upcoming album, and carries on in much the same vein as their previous material—with frantic drums underpinning drifty electronics. Thematically, this video blends live footage with elements of nature, and includes some shots from the band’s show at the now-defunct McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn.
