Hole: Various Songs (Live On AOL Sessions) (Videos)

In promotion for her still totally coming out next week album, Nobody's Daughter, Courtney Love and her guitarist Micko Larkin took to AOL's closet to record a handful of tracks from the album in acoustic form. All told, Courtney's voice is probably more enchanting on these acoustic tracks than it is when she's backed by the best instrumentals 1998 has to offer.

That said, Nobody's Daughter is maybe the first "comeback" album from any band that was popular in the mid '90s that actually sounds exactly like the era the band is from. Courtney doesn't try chillwave, trip-hop, or anything else. She's just doing songs that sound like her stuff from when she was known as the lady who used to sleep with Kurt Cobain. She certainly lacks for personal growth, which is better than the alternative, I guess.

You can see the videos over at AOL.
