Courtney Love brought her latest incarnation of Hole to Jimmy Kimmel’s show last night (April 29), where they performed “Skinny Little Bitch” and “Pacific Coast Highway” from Nobody’s Daughter. We’ve covered the former song comprehensively in this post, but the latter is an acoustic led mid-paced rock tune co-written with Billy Corgan.
It’s unlikely that the Smashing Pumpkind frontman was happy considering recent developments in his and Love’s friendship, although a meltdown in communications between the pair was possibly one of the most inevitable developments in recent rock history. Sadly, this seems like the kind of bland rock balladeering that Hole were diametrically opposed to when they formed, with Love struggling to sing in tune as the song comes to an unremarkable close.
