The Hole comeback has proved to be surprisingly popular, with Nobody’s Daughter entering the Billboard 200 at no. 15 and Courtney Love generally playing nice and doing lots of promo for the record. She brought her hired henchmen to Jay Leno’s show last night (June 7) to play “Pacific Cost Highway” from the album.
It’s too bad Love is confining her fiery nature to Twitter posts and other online rants these days, when it would be better served being poured into her music. This might be the least animated Hole performance ever—and sure, Love might be getting on a bit, but it’s a great shame she doesn’t seem able to channel her righteous anger through her songs and live performance.
