12-minute songs are often hosed when it comes to music videos: There is apparently little or no demand for videos of songs that go over five minutes. But High Places have thrown that notion out with the 12-minute video for their hazy masterwork "Late Bloomer," an ambient and dancy track that is featured on a joint 12-inch with Soft Circle that is out now. The video is all spooky shots of trees, nature, the band walking around a wooded park, and well, that's pretty much it. [Pitchfork]
