Proving again that the midwest can produce music that doesn't sound anything like Wilco or REO Speedwagon we have Hey Champ out of Chicago. The track is a pretty genuine sounding, likable synth-propelled tell-off to a "Cold Dust Girl." I'm not really sure what that is, but it sounds pretty ominous. Perhaps it is the entry level stage for a "Gold Dust Woman"? [Discodust]
A little too sugary sweet for my tastes, but I can see people liking this one.
THEY SOUND LIKE A RIP OFF OF CHROMEO
MDOUBLE
Seriously, this track is amazing! Daba, you are correct about others being liking this one. MDouble is a moron
Opps. Noticed a few typos above, but I attribute that to a spazzy response after reading MDOUBLE's comment (which pissed me off). Honestly, Chromeo doesn't have a monopoly on guitar riffs and synth sounds. This track is way more genuine than Chromeo (although I still dig em).
MDOUBLE, full o' doodie. This is much more genuine than Chromeo (sorry, but that duo doesn't have a patent on every track that features guitars and synths). You are a moron... This track is amazing...
