It is very hard sometimes, to take guys with guitars seriously. They generally want to sound like Ryan Adams or Arcade Fire, both important acts of which we only need one. Maybe Here We Go Magic's Luke Temple has avoided that trap with his reliance on vocals that sound more like an instrument than some beardo's bleeding heart, and drowsy percussion that makes his songs feel like journeys. Maybe I am speaking too soon. I should shut up before Temple puts out his alt-country/Springsteen-influenced master work. [The Fader]
Where did you pull that from? Male guitarists generally fall into one of two molds constituted no less by Arcade Fire and Ryan Adams? I would call that a gross generalization, except even those are generally based on some kernel of truth. Just present the mp3 of 'Fangela', and say you like it. Sheesh.

Your wrong, Matthew. Dead wrong.
