Some of the disco inflected tracks from Hercules & Love Affair’s Blue Songs were given an airing on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic recently. The full band appeared on the show to record a session, including this version of “Falling” from that latest record, which was captured on camera. This is the kind of exuberant pop the band does so well, with soulful vocals layered over a bubbling groove and the members of the group managing to overcome the stuffy confines of the studio to deliver a rough approximation of what it’s like to see them live.
